Wonderful

After years of working with computers, I have been seeking ways to make my desktop feel more substantial and realistic rather than cold and flat. This is one awesome way to do it. I have two monitors, my main one is my 27" iMac, and the second an older squarish flat panel. I put this clock on the other panel, so I have it sitting next to me, and I get to see the clock a little more often since I use that space less. IT is indeed like hving a grandfather clock without taking up anymore space! And even better, I know that the time is actually correct.

I really like the options on the sound settings; it really allows me to customize it to what I want. I would keep it running even when I am not on the computer in screen saver mode, but because of my preference to reduce energy costs, my computer is set up to go into sleep mode right away. So I mostly enjoy its benefits as I am working.

My cat really likes it, too, and will sit watching it, as mesmerized as I am by the inner workings.
I wish there were more apps out there like this one for our desktops. But this one has managed to truly capture some authenticity. It might be nice to have options for other clock faces in the future.
