A nice bit of analogue in a digital world. This is a neat program, with a couple of issues. First off, the background is so busy that it’s actually difficult to see the clock hands; they just don’t stand out enough from all the stuff going on behind them. Second, this app looks nice, but it would look AMAZING if it were Retina resoultion — which it is not. I run it on my laptop with a second monitor (connected via Thunderbolt DVI adaptor). If the program is displaying on the second monitor and I disconnect that monitor, the program gets confused. The sounds continue, but the image is gone (which makes sense, as the monitor is no longer connected.) But if I reconnect the second monitor, the clock doesn’t reappear. Then if I change the monitor settings to my laptop screen and back, the clock continues to display on the laotop screen and not the second screen. So long story short: it gets confused with multiple monitors. Restarting the app fixes this issue. I would like to have more granular sound options — for example, I’d like the ticking to be pretty quiet, but the chimes should be louder. Only one sound setting.
